You can set specific images for specific blog posts you publish.
To do this, go to the WordPress Admin dashboard.
Go to the Posts section and click Edit the post you want a featured image for.
On the right hand, scroll down to the section dedicated to Featured Image.
Click on Set Featured Image and upload the image of your choice.
Thus, each blog post will be customized with its own featured image.
